Blocks Mag April 2018

The latest issue of Blocks magazine arrives today, packed full of LEGO builds, reviews and behind the scenes insights.

LEGO BrickHeadz is growing into a huge theme this year, so Blocks chats to LEGO design experts Austin Carlson and Marcos Bessa to find out what goes into bringing these angular characters to brick life. The latest wave of the long-running NINJAGO theme gets the full review treatment, to see which sets live up the high octane billing.

It is a month full of LEGO Ideas creations, with a spotlight on five Classic Space projects, a fast food build and a timely look at the Muppeteers. The recently released Ship in a Bottle gets a discerning eye cast over it in the review section, before getting miniaturised with step by step instructions.

Two incredible build projects, Steampunk Batman and the Destiny’s Bounty rebuild, both reach their impressive conclusions in Issue 43. For those who invested in 75192 Millennium Falcon, the special modifications guide continues with the all-important smuggling compartments. The build spotlight also shines on a series of classic Town sets that have been updated for the modern era.

That’s not all, as regular columnist Brick Wife looks on the bright side and Brickpicker questions whether Star Wars sets are still a good investment, while Month in LEGO brings the latest news, commentary and analysis.
